SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS WITH PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN

We visited teacher Marilo and her 3-year-old students to show them some science experiments.  We mixed colours to make a new colour, made a volcano and made a coin disappear.  Then we did some magic!  The small kids were amazed and then made their own experiments.
Visitamos a la maestra Marilo y a sus alumnos de 3 años para mostrarles algunos experimentos científicos. Mezclamos colores para hacer un nuevo color, hicimos un volcán e hicimos desaparecer una moneda. ¡Entonces hicimos algo de magia! Los niños pequeños se sorprendieron y luego hicieron sus propios experimentos.

A BUSY WEEK

We had 2 presentations and a birthday party this week.  Helena entertained us with a magic show and Ariel talked about the Egyptian Gods.  Very interesting!

Then we celebrated Susana's birthday with a cake.

On Friday, April 13th the grade six students went horse riding in Marvao, Portugal.  We also visited the castle and made pizza.  It was great fun!

SCIENCE PRESENTATIONS - ECOSYSTEMS

Grade 6 students made some very interesting presentations about different ecosystems, including marine, desert, tropical rainforest, temperate forest and tundra ecosystems.  Great work everyone!
